The Red Effect

February 2, 2017
$12 General / $10 DCAC Members

The Red Effect is a hard-hitting drama with a strikingly familiar storyline: An unarmed black teenager is shot and killed by a white man.

Directed by Jordan Miller, this intense and thought provoking film doesn’t hold back from asking the difficult questions. It explores the hypocrisy of our supposed “post-racial America” and the strength of the human spirit to survive through adversity and learn to persevere.
