Annika Papke is a multimedia creative living in Washington, DC who specializes in printmaking and painting. She is a graduate of The College of William and Mary with a degree and Art & Art History and American Studies and has been working in community art spaces in DC for the past 6 years.
Her work centers on experimentation with process and materials, and she strives to connect with, support, and learn from other artists as part of her creative process. Over the past few years, she has narrowed her focus to projects exploring the way women are perceived in popular media and working in abstraction using found objects, particularly e-waste.
